Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for anyone who:

  • …holds an ACS LPG Changeover (CONGLP1) qualification (+ any appliances) due to expire in 6 months or less, or has expired within the last 12 months

  • …is an experienced gas engineer wishing to renew competency in LPG fired appliances

  • …may not have earned their existing qualifications with Staffordshire Training Service – all qualified candidates are welcome!

About the ACS LPG Changeover Reassessment program

This reassessment program is designed for gas professionals who have secured the ACS LPG Changeover (plus any additional appliances) and need to renew their competency.

The assessment covers core LPG appliance changeover CONGLP1, but you can also include reassessment in other scope extensions, including:

  • Permanent Dwellings (CoNGLP1 PD)

  • Residential Park Homes (CoNGLP1 RPH)

  • Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (CoNGLP1 LAV)

If your competency expired over 12 months ago, you will need to complete the ACS LPG Changeover Initial Assessment course to renew your accreditation.

How is the ACS LPG Changeover Reassessment program delivered?

The reassessment program is delivered over 1 or 2 days. Depending on what scope extensions you’re seeking to qualify on, your Initial Assessment program could include one or more of the following applications:

  • Permanent Dwellings (PD)

  • Residential Park Homes (RPH)

  • Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV).

The reassessment can include aspects of self-study, with learners having access to the latest manuals to confirm knowledge.
